Welcome to the European Union!

Our colleagues Natalia and Nuria have been to a 2nd grade class to ask the kids what they knew about the European Union. After explaining what its features were, and benefits that it has brought to Spain, they have asked them to send a small but concise message of encouragement to those countries that are not yet part of this organization, to see everything that it can bring them.

Drawing with the little ones!

Team members Samai, Jaime and Adri, after explaining to the kids of primary one the functions of the European Union and what the benefits of those members were. and having shown them a photo with both flags (the Spanish and the European Union one) they were asked to draw, in their own way, these two flags representing the thirtieth anniversary of the entry of Spain.

EU WORKSHOP

During the break, several members of The U Element used their time to explain to our fellow students from every year, the functions of the European Union. They also exposed the main benefits that this political community has brought to Spain since its integration. Thanks to the efforts of our colleagues, more and more people in our school know more about the EU.

Raising awareness and debate day with our 2nd of Bachillerato classmates.

Isma, Samai and Irene had given  a speech to our classmates of 2 year of bachillerato about the EU, wich has follow with a little debate about the importance of the EU in our lifes and how our lifes would be without it.

In general, everyone thought that life would be harder in many aspects, for example the difficulty to travel to different countries or that the economy would be worse as same as many educative offers like Erasmus programm wouldn’t exist.

We also came to an interesting conclusion , if EU had not been formed, an other similar organization would have appeared because the 20TH trend is union, not division.

EU is explained to the children of 2nd and 4th of primary

Our teammates, Manuel, Natalia and Nuria have passed the break explaining the European Union and the importance for us to our schoolmates of 2nd and 4th of primary. For young mates, it has been an interesting experience and they have attended with almost no problem because of how well our colleagues explained it. As a result, we can instill a European spirit in the smallest mates  to continue appreciating everything that the European Union means to us and how important it is for them and Spanish society in general.
