About The UElement
Team presentation
As usual, our school – “La Inmaculada-Marillac”- has encourage us to participate in many competitions, including Euroscola. Some of us participated in previous editions and others have not, but it is always a valuable experience, for the team and for the school.
The team’s name was one of the first things that we thought off, at that moment, we were sat on the class floor during a break: “The UElement”, someone said highlighting the U and the E, the acronym of European Union in Spanish. After, we imagined the logo, a uranium atom (the U element) with its 96 electrons. In the center, three pigeons – the pigeon is the school symbol to form a U shape. The U is the nucleus from the atom, because – for us – everything is related to the school and the values it represents. The colors, blue, yellow, white and black, have also meanings. Yellow and blue referring to the european flag, whtie because it is the union of every color and black because of the difficulties.
The European Union brought a lot of benefits to Spain. 30 years ago, none of us had been born, we do not know how the life would be without the European Union, without the Schengen area, without the Euro, without european funds and, definitely, without the values the European Union represents.

He is a guy who is liked by people, although he is a bit tiresome, but in the end, when you really know him, you realize that he is a very good person who you can always trust.

He has always been a very intelligent and cultivated person, but sometimes he can be betrayed by his nerves when the situation is really critical. He has been the leader of this project since the begining and the one who animated us. He likes to do everything on the right way and he is really competitive. Working with him is a guarantee of efectivenes.

Student of 4th of ESO in the form of Sciences.
He is one of the smartest people I have ever met in my life. He is someone you can always count for everything, but above all, a good friend to trust and who is always there when you need him.
In The UElement, apart from working, we have time to meet each other better. Them, coordination team, puroposed a game were all the participants in the game had to describe from theirs points of view another member of the team. The result is what is shown in this page, in each team member card. None of the members (except the coordinator) knows who described who. And it will be never revealed.
The UElement is a team formed by many tipes of people, including showmans and shy people, misters and miss 10 and the ones who have a problem with Newton. We are a really heterogeneus team. And this is always good, the diversity is always good, as in the European Union.
